Whole Summer Truffle
Details
The Black Summer Truffle or Whole Scorzone (tuber aestivum Vitt.) In water and salt (brine) without the addition of preservatives, is available in glass jars of different sizes and is excellent for cooking delicious truffle recipes.
In the kitchen : pickled black summer truffles should be minced with all the liquid in the jar, as this cooking liquid retains all the truffle's flavor and fragrance. Diluted with oil or butter, it's excellent for seasoning risotto, fettuccine, tagliatelle, fried eggs, meat or fish main courses, and appetizers (see recommended recipe). The recommended serving is 15-20 g per person.
Storage: Before opening the jar it can be stored at room temperature but once opened it must be consumed.
